The BMS has been featured in The Financial Gazette in an article titled: Outrage as Princess Diana’s ‘body part’ is put on eBay.
AN AUCTION selling a lock of Princess Diana’s hair has shocked the internet. Despite being dead for nearly two decades, memorabilia relating to the tragic royal is still a big seller — but this latest lot could be one of the most macabre yet. The seller, David Hamilton, says the strands were part of an inscription she made in a book, two years before her death in 1997. He claims that she taped the hair alongside the words, “My lock, Diana, 1995.”
The British Monarchist Society told the Daily Star: “The sale of modern royal hair makes us feel uneasy and we are sure Princes William and Harry would be disturbed by the auction too: it is, essentially, a body part.” –The Sun
