National Barbadian Newspaper, Barbados Today, has featured the open letter penned by BMS Founder, Thomas Mace-Archer-Mills, in regard to the announcement that the Labour government of the Kingdom of Barbados intends to make the nation a republic. This news was conveyed on 16 September 2020 by the Governor General in the Throne Speech from Bridgetown. The BMS letter to the people of Barbados was an impassioned plea to the people to demand a referendum, direct their own destiny and defend The Crown of Barbados.
